February 5, 2018 the Arctic expedition started. A group of brave and experienced lovers of the extreme north and adventures flew to Salekhard, from where the path will be taken through the Polar Urals to Vorkuta, and from there to the village of Amderma on the shore of the Kara Sea.
In addition to almost a thousand kilometers of snowmobiles on the polar tundra, the expedition plans to spend the night in the mountains of the Polar Urals, studying abandoned miners' villages around Vorkuta, visiting the only Arctic thermal source Pym Wa Shor in the Nenets Autonomous District, spending the night in the Nenets plague and acquaintance with the life of the indigenous people places, as well as shooting a powerful aurora, which is expected in these latitudes for several days of the expedition.
The expedition program is here. According to the results of the expedition, it is planned to develop new ones both simple and more complex than the current Arctic routes for 2019 and subsequent years. If you have an interest in visiting the real, "deep" Arctic, follow our Travel Calendar, soon there will appear announcements of these new routes.
