Route description

Very intense tour on a comfortable bus group with a maximum of 6 participants in all the most interesting places of Georgia! For people who do not want to overpay for the different amenities, still want to get maximum emotions and impressions.

For 10 days, we will visit Tbilisi, Batumi, Borjomi valley, visit Svaneti, the cave monastery complex Vardzia, the oldest Georgian city of Uplistsikhe, as well as the first capital of Georgia - Mtskheta, see Ananuri fortress and Khertvisi, popem excellent Georgian wine and imbued the spirit of this small but beautiful and welcoming Caucasian country.

 

Route

Day 1. Moscow - Rostov - Kropotkin

Early in the morning going to the appointed place, loads in the minibus and set off on a journey. Day 2. The border with Georgia - Tbilisi

Early breakfast and departure to the route. By lunchtime, driving Pyatigorsk, Nalchik and Vladikavkaz, we drive to the border with Georgia, and in the evening to its capital - the city of Tbilisi. Day 3. Tbilisi

Since the city of Tbilisi was large and in it there is something to see, the whole day will be devoted to the stay and sightseeing in the capital of Georgia.

 

Day 4. Ancient fortress

In the morning we will travel to Ananuri fortress, and then visit the fortress Khertvisi. They both are not far from Tbilisi. After lunch, we'll pick the ancient city of Mtskheta - the first capital of Georgia, then in the town of Gori - Stalin's hometown, where, according to the general request of the group will visit one of the attractions - Stalin's house-museum or medieval fortress Goristsihe.

In the evening we arrive in Kutaisi - the second capital of Imereti and unofficial capital of Georgia. Here we will visit the Cathedral of Bagrat - one of the main attractions of Imereti and popem fine local wine in one of the cozy restaurants Kutaisi. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 5. Svaneti

Breakfast and departure to Svaneti the long serpentine mountain - will go about 6 hours, but the views of the surrounding mountains of the road will not be bored.

Towards noon we will arrive in the town of Mestia - Svaneti capital, the famous "Svan towers." Once there it flourished vendetta, completely wiped out about 200 Svan delivery. After seeing the beautiful city center, slightly, however, corrupted by the desire of local restorers who tried to make an authentic Georgian town of some sort of European ski resort, on a dirt road (weather permitting - on a minibus when it will rain and slush, then walk) go to the cable car station road which go upstairs to admire the beautiful views of Svaneti and the Main Caucasian ridge. In good weather here can be seen and Elbrus and Ushba. Maybe we'll get lucky with the weather.

In the evening we went down and spend the night in a tent in the mountains and the pristine beauty of almost untouched nature.

Day 6. Batumi sity and Black Sea

 

Hiking breakfast and we set off on the return journey through the places in the city of Zugdidi. Day 7. Vardzia monastery Safar and Borjomi Valley

Day 8. Uplistsikhe - Tbilisi

Day 9. Farewell to Georgia

On this day we leave by minibus to Georgia, cross the border with Russia, and, if it allows the road, we get to Rostov, where they spend the night in a guest-house. Possible overnight in tents before reaching Rostov - all depends on the road conditions.

Day 10. Homecoming

    This tour presents no difficulty and danger.
