Iceland is in trend today. Many people go there, but in one short trip to see almost all the most interesting in Iceland and the Faroe Islands - there are simply no such offers on the tourist market!

This tour is for those who value their time and strive to see the maximum, while saving, without overpaying for an individual service or independent travel, which will cost you 2-3-4 times more expensive! We have a small group (maximum 7 people) and we know how to make the trip not expensive, but comfortable, looking at the most interesting places - after all, we have all seen them many times and we understand what is definitely worth seeing and what is easy to miss.

We begin our journey with Faroe Islands . Despite the fact that for the mass tourist this name says little and most do not even know where these islands are, they are definitely worth seeing at least once in a lifetime! This is a journey for people who have not lost the ability to be surprised and impressed, it is a feeling that they visited the ends of the world. Amazing fantastic landscapes, which the Faroe Islands are rich in, help to feel and understand this: lakes hanging over the ocean, numerous fjords, mysterious gorges, noisy waterfalls, coastal rocks covered with foggy haze. Each Faroe island is unique and can be considered a separate natural attraction, but in our program there are only two islands - the most interesting!

Iceland is known to everyone today. She is beautiful, unusual, she is cosmic. And if you have not been there, then on this tour you will see the most interesting places in Iceland and this is more than enough to understand this country and be proud of its visit. Famous geysers, the most interesting waterfalls, wild black beaches and breathtaking cliffs, volcanic deserts and colorful mountains, thermal springs - all this awaits you in this short but very eventful journey.

Day 1. Faroe Islands, Vagar

Arrival to the Faroe Islands, Vagar Airport (the only international airport in the Faroe Islands). We fly through Copenhagen, to which everyone can get on any flight that is convenient for him.

Group meeting, hotel accommodation, acquaintance, walks in the surroundings.

Day 2. Sorvagswatn Lake, Mulafossur Falls and Torshavn

In the morning we board a minibus and set off for a visit to perhaps the most famous and interesting attraction of the Faroe Islands - Lake Sorvagswatn. The lake is located on a high mountain platform Slave near the Atlantic Ocean and literally hangs over the ocean. In fact, this is an optical illusion, but delight, impressions and beautiful photo frames are guaranteed.

Then we drive to the village of Gasadalur by car, where we will see the Mulafossur waterfall, and after that, in about an hour, we will reach the capital of the Faroe Islands, the town of Torshavn, where we will stay at the hotel, and devote the remaining time to independent walks around the city, since it is very colorful and there what to see. The heart of the city, its old part, founded in 825, is located on the tiny Tinganes peninsula. In a chaotic manner, there are small old houses of stone, the roofs of which are covered with grass. The old town is quite small, you can get around it in 15-20 minutes, but you want to take pictures at every house.

Day 3. Mykines Island

We get up early, today we need to catch a morning boat on the island of Mykines. The boat runs twice a day - departure at 10:25, back at 17:05 (the schedule is relevant for 2019, there may be changes in 2020, we will adapt to them). That is, we will spend almost the whole day on the island of Mykines, but it will not be boring.

The island is considered the main attraction of the Faroe Islands. Only a few people live on it, but millions of birds - more than three hundred species of birds alone! In addition, up to 90% of birds that make annual flights across the Atlantic are resting here. And here is a huge colony of dead ends - beautiful and unusual "flying penguins." In almost all other places of the world where these birds are found, it is quite difficult to see them - special tours are organized to them. Here, you can literally approach them at arm's length.

We will make a short track around the island and, if the group is physically ready, we will reach the 35-meter pedestrian bridge leading to the neighboring island of Mykines-Holmur. There is a beautiful lighthouse and the views are simply amazing.

After we return back by boat and go to the hotel.

Day 4. Iceland, Reykjavik

Flight to Reykjavik and the start of a trip to Iceland. We will devote the rest to walks in the center of the capital of Iceland - we will go along the main pedestrian street of the city and look into the famous modern Hallgrimskirkja church, which is like a rocket directed into the sky and is visible almost everywhere. If you have time and desire, you can walk to the port, where there are small restaurants where you can have a tasty, but quite expensive dinner.

Day 5. Waterfalls Seljyalandfoss and Skogafoss - Skogau River Valley - Dyrholaey - Vik

Early rise and departure on the ring road of Iceland. On this day, we will see the famous Seljälandandfoss and Skaugafoss waterfalls, walk along the canyon of the Skogau River and see a series of cascading waterfalls and the canyon itself, as well as visit the town of Dirkholy with bizarre cliffs, a huge rocky arch, cliffs over the ocean and stunning panoramic views of the ocean and wild cold black beaches.

For the night we will stop at a hotel in the village of Vic, the tourist center of southern Iceland. There is also something to see here, those who wish can even swim in the ocean, this is the traditional entertainment of tourists here, but is only available for people with good health - the water temperature rarely exceeds 8 -10 degrees.

Day 6. Waterfalls, glaciers and icebergs

Wake up early - again we have a very busy and interesting day! :)

We leave the campsite on the ring road and after about an hour we make the first stop near the Fjadra river to walk a little and admire the fantastic beauty of the canyon through which this river flows.

Then we come to Skaftafell National Park, where we go for a short walk to the Svartifoss waterfall - a typical Icelandic waterfall framed by unusual basalt rocks, cook lunch at a local camping site, and then take another short walk to the glacial lagoon, where we will admire a huge tongue the Vantayökull glacier - the largest glacier in Europe.

Our next stop is the Jokulsarlon lagoon of icebergs - a fantastic and world-famous place. Here, blocks of ice break off from the same Vantayökull glacier and in the form of ibergs along the lagoon with unrealistically beautiful blue water, across a small isthmus, float into the ocean. There is something to see and photograph here, believe me! Those who wish can go on a tour of the lagoon in an amphibious car or motor boat, but this is not cheap. It may be even more interesting to walk along the lagoon coast, watching icebergs and fur seals frolicking in the waters of the lagoon, to lie on the beach among the pieces of ice thrown ashore. In general, the only problem here is to gather all the participants to go further :) However, this is the last point of our program, so that we can stay in the lagoon until late at night. The only thing we still need to be in time for this day is to return back to the village of Vik for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7. Reynisfjara - Hekla Volcano - Blue Lagoon

Again an early rise, today we are waiting for an equally rich program. We drive back towards Reykjavik, but on the way we will go to the town of Renisfjara with basalt columns like the famous "bridge of the giants" in Ireland and beautiful views of the cliffs in the ocean, and then we will make a 70-kilometer car throw to the side of the main road along a dirt road and we get to another planet - the volcanic desert of Hekla volcano - the highest and most active volcano of Iceland. Do not worry, nothing is threatening us here, but the feelings and impressions of a walk in this place will remain with you for a long time. Guaranteed!

And we will end the day in the Blue Lagoon - a thermal spring with warm milky blue water and healing white mud, ennobled by man and turned into a real spa resort. Spend here an hour and a half, swimming in the water, drinking cocktails in the bar and admiring the sunset - true bliss, verified!

Day 8. Iceland's Golden Ring: Geyser Valley, Gudlfoss Waterfall and Thingvellir National Park

And again an early rise :) Today we are waiting for a car tour of the Golden Ring of Iceland - the most popular tourist route in this country. There are always a lot of tourists here, so we leave early to see at least the first attraction without the crowds of Chinese and other lovers of bus excursions covering it.

And the first attraction is the valley of geysers and the famous geyser Strokkur, every 3 minutes throwing a stream of boiling water into the air. There is now and now the inactive Geyser - a common name, it was in honor of this geyser that all the geysers in the world began to call this name! Today, only a memorial stone remains from it, but the place is legendary and interesting in every sense.

Next, we are waiting for the cascading Gudlfoss waterfall - a spectacle truly amazing with its scale and beauty. In our memory there was not a single person who would not like this place :)

The last attraction is Thingvellir National Park. The North American and Eurasian tectonic plates break here and this can be seen with the naked eye - a huge crack runs through the entire park! The unique geology created here is a natural amphitheater, perfect for public performances, including the high rock wall of Logberg. The Vikings, the founders of Iceland, chose this place for public meetings and it was here that the first laws of this country were recorded.

Day 9. Landmanalaugar Valley: colorful mountains, turquoise rivers and thermal springs

Early in the morning (again early, sorry :) we board a regular bus and leave for the Valley of Landmanalaugar. This bus is not ordinary, but off-road - with high reinforced suspension, large wheels and off-road tread. After all, only off-road vehicles can reach the famous valley - a very bad road and deep fords make it almost impossible to get there with ordinary cars. Once we got there by Renault Traffic minibus, but it was stress for the participants and in fact, rental companies forbid such trips. So we will not take risks and go to Landmanalaugar by suitable transport for this.

Immediately upon arrival, we go to the track along the colorful mountains of the valley. The beginning of the track is quite complicated - you need to climb a mountain with a decent climb, but the landscapes that you see from there will shock your imagination and make you forget about the difficulties of the path. Guaranteed! Yellow, brown, black, white, green mountains, huge lava fields cutting through their rivers of turquoise color, crystal clear streams and thermal springs literally at every step - there is so little where you can see! And for dessert, a small attraction - we will have a bite of boiled eggs, which we cook here in a boiling thermal spring.

We return in the evening on the same off-road bus to the Reykjavik hotel, full of emotions and impressions.

Day 10. Home

Transfer to the airport and flight home.
