Day 5. Denmark and ferry to Norway

Early breakfast and departure to the expanses of Denmark. After passing and looking from the car to almost all of Denmark (in beautiful places we will stop to look around and take a picture), in the evening we will be in the town of Hirtshals where we will sail to the Norwegian city of Kristiansand, in the suburbs we will spend the night in a campsite on the shore of a beautiful of the fjord.

Day 6. Kristiansand - Oslo

In the morning we go to the zoo in Kristiansand. If you think that you have visited different zoos and here in Norway, nothing interesting will happen to you, then you are very wrong! First, this zoo is contact. That is, all not dangerous animals - birds, deer, small funny monkeys, lemurs, etc. walk among you, they can be petted, fed, photographed with them. At the same time, they all feel fine and very liberated, at first glance it is clear that such a life is not at all a burden to them. Well, the free life of tigers, lions, elephants, rhinoceroses, giraffes (yes, in northern Norway, these animals live quietly) can be viewed from specially constructed bridges - animals simply live their lives on a fairly large territory, and you look at them on.

After visiting the zoo we are repelled on the way to Oslo. After 400 kilometers, we find ourselves in the capital of Norway and we are accommodated in a large campsite on a hill with a view of the whole city, and its center is only 30 minutes on foot. It is this way of transportation that we will use for evening walks around the city - it is healthy and training before the coming out to the natural attractions of Norway :)

Day 7. Oslo - Lysefjord

Breakfast, departure from the campsite to the city center, where we will have another 3-4 hours to inspect the main attractions of Oslo. After that, we set off on an exciting journey through the most beautiful places in central Norway. We will reach the village of Lyse bot on the shore of the Lyse fjord. Here we have a campsite with stunning views of the mountains with waterfalls and a fjord.

Day 8. Kjerag and Keragbolten

Very early climb, zatrak and we again go on a mountain serpentine on a minibus to the parking lot, from where we will go on foot to Kjerag - the first on our way of the natural sight of Norway. It is a stone stuck between two rocks and hanging at a height of almost a kilometer above the precipice. The road to it takes two or three hours and in the daytime it does not get through the crowds of tourists, so we'll get up early to come there first or one of the first and calmly, without fuss and turn to be photographed and enjoy the place. The most fearless will be able to climb directly to the & quot; pea & quot; - it's not so scary and dangerous, as many think, but those who do not want to do it, will also have something to do and what to see - around absolutely fantastic in beauty species.

Return to the minibus, and on it to the camping, which will be our home and for this, the second night. And the views around it are worth it!

Day 9.Lysefjord and Preikestolen

After a hearty breakfast, we drop in on a tourist ferry that goes all over the Lyus Fjord to the town of Lauviw. During the trip across the fjord on the loudspeaker there is a sightseeing tour in several languages ??- English, Norwegian, German. In the cafeteria of the ferry you can find free booklets with text in other languages, including Russian. We will sail under the famous Preikestolen cliff, which is considered the most beautiful cliff in the world and which we will go on foot as soon as we leave the ferry and leave a minibus in the parking lot.

This time we will go slowly, as we will have tents with us and we will not just enjoy the views from the cliff, but we will also meet the sunset and dawn beside it. If there is a good, cloudless weather, you will get fantastic pictures of the beauty. If bad - enjoy the sensations and emotions of the greatness of nature, which can not be felt without being on the cliff and around it.

As the practice of the past years shows, spending the night on a cliff is a very interesting decision, as there are thousands of people here during the day and you feel yourself among them as in the Moscow metro during rush hour. To spend the night there are very few and from 10 pm to 6 am a cliff, with all its beauties, sunsets and sunrises, in our full disposal!

Day 10. The waterfall Lotefossen and the city of Odda

Early breakfast and return to the minibus. Today we are waiting for a very beautiful road, along which a lot of waterfalls, including one of the most famous waterfalls in Norway - Lotefossen. Evening and night we will spend in a camping on the shore of a lake near the town of Odda. Tomorrow we will have to walk to one of the world's most famous natural attractions - Troll's tongue, the rock ledge beneath which is 700 meters of emptiness...

Day 11. Trolltunga

Breakfast and departure to the beginning of the itinerary This is the longest and most difficult hiking transition during our tour. Go 11 kilometers, and up the hill, along a well-equipped, marked, but sometimes rather steep trail. However, as in the case of Preikestolen, we are not in a hurry, as we plan to spend the night in tents near the rock and enjoy its views, when there will not be a lot of tourists, and also to meet the sunset and dawn.

The Trolltunga is so colorful and unusual that it attracts extreme eccentrics from around the world. As soon as people are not photographed on it, trying not only to capture a beautiful place, but also to stand out among others in this place. Here is a small selection of such & miracle-pictures». You too can come up with something special, and we will help you to do this. As part of security, of course.

Day 12. Bergen

Campfire breakfast, descent to the car, about 250 kilometers of mountain serpentines and closer to the evening we will be in Bergen - an unusual city on the North Sea, the medieval quay of which is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites. We walk around the small but very colorful city center, we must go to the fish market, which is worth it to visit, and for the night we stop at a campsite in the suburbs of Bergen.

Day 13. Geiranger fjord and road & "Troll ladder & quot;

On this day we will go more than walk, but the views from the window of the minibus will be such that you forget about everything, guaranteed!

In the morning we drive along the picturesque road to the Geirangerfjord, considered one of the most beautiful in Norway. The road does not cease to amaze! Then it winds around the many lakes and fjords, then suddenly shows the idyllic landscape of alpine meadows with grazing cows and the multicolored mountain herbs, then rises to the mountains and around the snow and ice, and then - in five minutes we again fall into the summer!

To the Geiranger fjord we descend on the breathtaking mountain serpentine, not forgetting to stop for a photo session on the viewing platform, and then having lunch in the Geiranger camping grounds and enjoying the views around, again rises up the mountain by crazy serpentine.

Well, afterwards we go to the city of Alesund, in the vicinity of which we will stop for the night in a camping with a view of the fjord and thickets of blueberries ripening already by this time along the slopes around it.

Day 14. Alesund and the Atlantic Road

Alesund could become the scene of a Scandinavian fairy tale with a spectacular contemporary plot & raquo ;, & ndash; so the National Geographic magazine says about the city. Check and see for yourself! Almost the whole day we will walk around this fabulous city, enjoying the unique spirit of architecture in the style of art nouveau, harmoniously combined with the northern beauty of nature.

From the observation deck of the cafe & la Fjellstua & raquo; (135 m above sea level) we will enjoy the best views of the city and the coastal line so characteristic of Norway, and then we will visit in Alesund one of Norway's largest aquariums, located 3 km west of the city center on the Tuenezet Spit and harmoniously inscribed in the coastal landscape. In the huge acrylic tanks of the Atlantic Park (Atlanterhavspark), almost all the inhabitants of the North Sea are represented.

In the evening we will drive along the famous Atlantic road with bizarre humpbacked bridges and stop for the night in the camping site of the city of Kristiansund.

Day 15. Trondheim

In the morning we will go to the city of Trondheim, famous for its cathedral Nidaros & nbsp; - the national sanctuary of Norway, the prestigious university of natural and technical sciences, as well as houses on stilts picturesquely hanging over the water. After inspecting the city for 4-5 hours, we will continue on and we will go almost without stopping until the evening, on this day we have to travel a long distance on our minibus.

Day 16. The Arctic Circle and the Lofoten Islands

We continue the movement, we pass the Arctic Circle, where we will make a small stop for rest and purchase of souvenirs in the store, which is impossible to pass by and in the afternoon we reach the ferry crossing from where ferries to the Lofoten Islands go. Waiting for the ferry (they go very rarely), we load on it and sail about two hours practically in the open sea. And this is another entertainment! If you do not know what a seasickness is, here you will have the opportunity to learn it to the fullest extent :) But do not worry - everything is not so scary and no one else has died here :))

In the evening we will sail to Lofoten islands - the penultimate sight in our Norwegian trip. The islands are located in the severe waters of the Norwegian Sea, beyond the Arctic Circle. This is a land of wild, unbridled nature, majestic mountains, deep fjords, noisy bird colonies and long sandy beaches. The Lofoten Islands retained strong ties with the Viking Age. And for photographers it's just a real paradise - here everything breathes beauty and color - whether it's mountains surrounding small fishing villages, these villages themselves, people living in them, deep dark sea ... Photo tours are specially organized here, we'll see it all Within the framework of one round, which includes all the beauty of Norway.

For the night we stop at a campsite amid the mountains and white nights - at this time the sun sets over the mountains here at ... one o'clock in the morning, and two o'clock in the morning it's already sunrise :)

Day 17. Lofoten Islands

After breakfast we go to the most extreme point of the Lofoten islands - a village with an interesting name O (one letter & quot; O & quot; and nothing else :) Then we'll go to the fishing village of Rheine where we make a small ascent to one of the surrounding mountains to truly admire the views and make just fantastic pictures that will tear your Instagram (well, either Facebook :))

We spend the night in a very original place - on a wild white beach, chosen by tourists from all over the world for rest "savages". Here there is a whole village of tents, there is an equipped and quite civilized toilet and ... the virgin nature around. The most daring bathe in the cold waters of the sea, everyone else admires the views and enjoys privacy with nature. For one evening and night we will join them and, I think, no one will disappoint such a "wild" overnight.

Day 18. Rovaniemi - the capital of Lapland

Having breakfasted, having photographed and sat down the car, we leave further, this time towards the house. However, we have to see and experience many more interesting things!

In the afternoon we will arrive in the Finnish city of Rovaniemi - the capital of Lapland and the residence of Santa Claus (also Finnish Ded Moroz Yolupukki). This place, of course, is more interesting to visit in winter, when everything is breathing here with the atmosphere of the New Year's holiday, but in summer there is something to see. From here you can send beautiful postcards, there is even a service that allows you to deliver your postcard not right now, but for Christmas. As evidenced by the experience of past travels, the Santa Claus mail enjoys special attention among tourists :)

We'll drive for an hour or so to the village of Santa Claus, cross the Arctic Circle, only this time in the opposite direction - towards the south and go further. We'll spend the night in a campsite on the picturesque shore of the Gulf of Bothnia, next to the small and picturesque town of Oulu, which we will also visit to take a walk along its small, cozy streets, more like a cinema scenery than a real city.

Day 19. Turku and the border with Russia

For most of the day we will travel along the motorway along the Gulf of Bothnia where, among other things, we will visit the city of Turku, and then, without stopping in Helsinki, we will reach the Russian border and cross it. Late at night we will reach Vyborg, where we will stay for the night at the hotel.

Day 20. The way home

Breakfast and the way home. If there is a desire, we can stretch our legs a bit, strolling around St. Petersburg or not doing it and coming home early. But, in any case, we arrive in Moscow late at night.

What is the difficulty of the trip? Will I be able to withstand these loads? What are the limitations?

The pedestrian part of this tour is of medium complexity. This means that having minimal physical training, you will be able to withstand all field trips without any problems. However, you must understand that Norway is a northern country, the weather there does not spoil the warmth and sunny days. Rains, winds, fogs - almost guaranteed. Any hiking out can take place in the rain, sometimes strong, you will blot and before coming "to civilization" you will not be able to dry clothes and shoes. In addition, all overnight stays - in tents! Most often - in campsites, where there is a shower (usually for some money), toilet, kitchen, Wi-Fi. But if you want to spend the night outside of the campgrounds - without any amenities.

If you are pampered or do not fully understand what it means to spend the night in a tent for 18 days, you better refrain from participating in this tour! It will be uncomfortable to you, and to us with you.

Due to lengthy crossings, the tour is also not recommended for people with spine diseases.

Why is the tour so expensive, at the same time spending the night in tents?

Norway is a very expensive country, one of the most expensive in the world. And with an overnight stay in hotels the price will be 5-6 times higher! We also provide an opportunity to see as much as possible for the minimum money for such a tour! If you compare with the prices of other companies for similar or similar tours and take into account that standard tours last 10 -12 -14 days, and we have 20 full days, you will understand that this is a cheap tour. In addition, you do not need to buy any tickets - the road (from Moscow or St. Petersburg) is already included in the tour price!

If you pass this route on your car, you will spend 2-3 times more on the cost per person, as our route is optimized and does not contain unnecessary expenses that you will have to bear due to not knowing a lot of nuances that result in additional expenditure.

Recommendations for clothes and equipment

The weather in Norway is changeable and replete with rain, wind and fog, especially in the highlands and beyond the Arctic Circle. Therefore, you need to bring with you a sufficient supply of warm and waterproof camp clothing - a membrane jacket, trousers, trekking shoes, running shoes for cities, a mandatory set of thermal underwear, as well as a hat, gloves, warm socks, fleece, sunscreen and sunglasses.
