Description

Norway is one of the most beautiful places on Earth and it is next to us! In a small friendly group we will go around all the most interesting places of its central part, and in addition we will reach the most famous and iconic places of Norway, which can only be reached on foot - Kjerag - a stone in the form of a pea stuck in a rock, Preikestolen rock, Trolltunga rock. We will also visit all the capitals of Scandinavia - Helsinki, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo, as well as the cities of Kristiansand, Bergen, Tallinn, Vyborg, the ancient Danish castle of the Egeskov and the endless, fantastically beautiful beaches of Northern Denmark, we will see two ingenious engineering structures - two stunning bridges - Eresunsky and Big Belt, an old wooden church of the 12th century in central Norway and some of the most beautiful fjords.

Short (for traveling to Norway) and a very eventful tour at a reasonable price. Every day we spend the night in a new place, roads, ferries, cities and even countries merge into one large moving canvas, but you will remember this journey for a very long time! The dream of a perfect outdoor activity becomes a reality!

Route day by day

Day 1. Moscow - Vyborg

Early in the morning we gather at the appointed place, load in the minibus and go on a trip. During the movement we get to know each other, tell funny stories, sing songs (whoever wants to, of course), stop in beautiful places for snacks and lunch, and in the evening arrive in the city of Vyborg, taking a walk along which we stop for the night right in the forest near the Russian-Finnish border.

Day 3. Helsinki

Early breakfast and transfer to the border with Finland. We cross it and closer to dinner we arrive in Helsinki. Walking around the city, then loading on an evening ferry to Stockholm. There is something to do on the twelve-story Silja Line ferry! Restaurants and cafes, a sauna and a biscuit, shops, observation decks and even a casino - everyone will find something to their taste here.

Day 3. Stockholm

In the morning we arrive in Stockholm, where we will spend several hours, and then go to the capital of Denmark - the city of Copenhagen. On the way, we will stop at the beginning of the famous Eresun bridge, which is a very impressive sight (this bridge was also shot in the famous Danish-Swedish TV series "Bridge"). Then we will have a couple of hours to explore the center of Copenhagen, after which we will go on camping overnight.

Day 4. Copenhagen and all of Denmark

In the morning, after breakfast, we stop in the center of Copenhagen for a couple more hours, and then go on a trip to Denmark. We’ll make the first stop near the Big Belt bridge connecting the two Danish islands - Zeeland and Funen, which is no less spectacular than the Eresun Bridge. Then we will drop by a couple of hours into the Egeskov castle - an old castle with a beautiful territory around and a very interesting museum inside, and in the evening we will arrive on the northern coast of Denmark, where we will stop at a campsite near the Rubjerg Knude lighthouse, next to the endless sandy beach, on which we will meet sunset is an incredibly beautiful sight.

Day 5. Kristiansand - Oslo

We get up not very early (however, those who wish can get up early to enjoy the dawn on the beach), have breakfast and go to the town of Hirtshals located nearby, where we load on a high-speed ferry and sail on it to the Norwegian city of Kristiansand - hello Norway! After sailing, we have a difficult 400-kilometer drive to the city of Oslo, where we will stay for the night in a large comfortable camping on a hill above the city. The city center is only 30 minutes walk, so those who wish can spend the evening and even night walking in Oslo.

Day 6. Oslo - Lyse Fjord

Breakfast, departure from the campsite to the city center, where we will have another 3-4 hours to explore the main attractions of Oslo. After that, we embark on a fascinating journey through the most beautiful places in central Norway. On the way, we will drive into the famous church, completely built of their tree, and then along the first mountain serpentine (and how many there will be later!) We will reach the village of Luce Botn on the banks of the Luce fjord. Here we are waiting for a campsite with stunning mountain views with waterfalls and a fjord.

Day 7. Kjerag and Kjeragbolten

A very early rise, breakfast and we set off again along the mountain serpentine in a minibus to the parking lot, from which we will go on foot to Kjerag - the first natural sight of Norway on our way. This is a stone stuck between two rocks and hanging at a height of almost a kilometer above the precipice. The road to it takes two to three hours and during the day it is not crowded by crowds of tourists, so we will get up early to come there first or one of the first and calmly, without fuss and turn, take a picture and enjoy the place. The most fearless will be able to climb directly onto the "pea" - this is not so scary and dangerous as many people think, but those who do not want to do this will also have something to do and what to see - there are absolutely fantastic views around them.

Return to the minibus, and on it to the campsite, which will become our home on this second night. And the views around him are worth it!

Day 8. Lysefjord and Preikestolen

After a hearty breakfast, we call on a tourist ferry that goes all over the Lyse Fjord to the town of Lauwick. While traveling through the fjord, a loudspeaker takes a guided tour in several languages - English, Norwegian, German. In the ferry cafeteria, you can find free booklets with text in other languages. We will sail under the famous Preikestolen Cliff, which is considered the most beautiful cliff in the world and which we will go on foot as soon as we leave the ferry and leave the minibus in the parking lot.

This time we will go slowly, as we will have tents with us and we will not only enjoy the views from the cliff, but also meet the sunset and dawn near it. If there is good, cloudless weather, fantastic pictures will turn out simply fantastic beauty. If it’s bad, we will enjoy the sensations and emotions from the greatness of nature, which cannot be felt while on the cliff and around it.

As the practice of past years shows, spending the night on a cliff is a very interesting solution, since there are thousands of people here during the day and you feel like among them in Beijing metro at rush hour. Very few remain to sleep, and from 10 pm to 6 am the cliff, with all its beauties, sunsets and sunrises, is at our full disposal!

Day 9. Lotefossen Waterfall and Odda

Early breakfast and return to the minibus. Today we are waiting for a very beautiful road along which many waterfalls, including one of the most famous waterfalls in Norway - Lotefossen. We spend the evening and night in a campsite on the lake near the town of Odda. Tomorrow we have to go on foot to one of the most famous natural attractions in the world - Trolltunga, a rocky ledge under which 700 meters of emptiness ...

Day 10. Trolltunga

Breakfast and departure to the beginning of the route This is the longest and most difficult trekking during our tour. Walk 14 kilometers, and uphill, along a well-equipped, marked, but at times quite steep path. However, as in the case of Preikestolen, we are not in a hurry, as we plan to spend the night in tents near the cliff and enjoy its views when there are not a large number of tourists, as well as to meet the sunset and dawn.

Trolltunga is so colorful and unusual that it attracts extreme eccentrics from around the world. As soon as people are not photographed on it, trying not only to capture a beautiful place, but also to stand out among others in this place. You can also come up with something special, and we will help you implement it. As part of safety compliance, of course.

Day 11. Bergen

Camping breakfast, descent to the car, about 250 kilometers of mountain serpentines and in the evening we will be in Bergen - an unusual city on the shores of the North Sea, whose medieval promenade is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. We walk around the small but very picturesque city center, we definitely go to the fish market, which is worth it to visit, and stay overnight at a campsite in the suburbs of Bergen.

Day 12. Bergen - Stokholm

We set off on the return trip. Today we have to drive about 700 kilometers along the most beautiful roads of Norway and Sweden, and stay overnight at a campsite in a suburb of Stockholm.

Day 13. Stokholm

We walk around Stockholm all day, and towards evening we load onto a ferry sailing to Tallinn.

Day 14. Tallin - Moscow

We sail to Tallinn in the morning, we devote the entire first half of the day to exploring this small but very cozy, bizarre city, and then we move towards St. Petersburg, and from it to Moscow, where we will arrive late in the evening or at night.

What is the difficulty of the trip? Will I be able to withstand these loads? What are the limitations?

The pedestrian part of this tour is of medium complexity. This means that having minimal physical training, you will be able to withstand all field trips without any problems. However, you must understand that Norway is a northern country, the weather there does not spoil the warmth and sunny days. Rains, winds, fogs - almost guaranteed. Any hiking out can take place in the rain, sometimes strong, you will blot and before coming "to civilization" you will not be able to dry clothes and shoes. In addition, all overnight stays - in tents! Most often - in campsites, where there is a shower (usually for some money), toilet, kitchen, Wi-Fi. But if you want to spend the night outside of the campgrounds - without any amenities.

If you are pampered or do not fully understand what it means to spend the night in a tent for 18 days, you better refrain from participating in this tour! It will be uncomfortable to you, and to us with you.

Due to lengthy crossings, the tour is also not recommended for people with spine diseases.

Why is the tour so expensive, at the same time spending the night in tents?

Norway is a very expensive country, one of the most expensive in the world. And with an overnight stay in hotels the price will be 5-6 times higher! We also provide an opportunity to see as much as possible for the minimum money for such a tour! If you compare with the prices of other companies for similar or similar tours and take into account that standard tours last 10 -12 -14 days, and we have 20 full days, you will understand that this is a cheap tour. In addition, you do not need to buy any tickets - the road (from Moscow or St. Petersburg) is already included in the tour price!

If you pass this route on your car, you will spend 2-3 times more on the cost per person, as our route is optimized and does not contain unnecessary expenses that you will have to bear due to not knowing a lot of nuances that result in additional expenditure.

Recommendations for clothes and equipment

The weather in Norway is changeable and replete with rain, wind and fog, especially in the highlands and beyond the Arctic Circle. Therefore, you need to bring with you a sufficient supply of warm and waterproof camp clothing - a membrane jacket, trousers, trekking shoes, running shoes for cities, a mandatory set of thermal underwear, as well as a hat, gloves, warm socks, fleece, sunscreen and sunglasses.
